Our Mission

The Refuah Health Center exists to provide high-quality medical, dental and supportive services to all who wish to avail themselves of the Center, regardless of economic status.

The concept of Refuah, and our mission, began in the Summer of 1989, when local residents’s had little or no health and medical resources nearby. There was a tremendous need for quality healthcare, so the concept of a top-notch local health center was formed. Twenty years later, Refuah has over 100,000 patient visits each year and is growing in leaps and bounds.

Since Day One, Refuah has provided high-quality services to all who need it – regardless of one’s economic status and insurance ability.

We design services and programs to accommodate the healthcare needs, social and cultural sensitivities, as well as economic realities of our patients. We promote the physical and mental well being of patients and the community-at-large through integration of services, patient education and empowerment, and community outreach and involvement.
